Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026

By using EmbeddedPrep.io, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

EmbeddedPrep.io is an online learning platform offering lessons, interview questions, code examples, and coding problems for embedded systems engineers. The Free tier is offered without charge; the Pro tier is offered via a paid subscription or one-time lifetime purchase.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account. Keep your login credentials safe and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including for harassment, spam, attempting to compromise the service, or non-payment.

3. Subscriptions and billing

All prices are in USD. You can cancel a recurring subscription anytime in Settings β€” your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

4. Refunds

Within the first 14 days of your first purchase, email us at hello@embeddedprep.io for a no-questions-asked refund. After 14 days, we don't refund completed billing periods, but you can cancel to avoid future charges.

Lifetime purchases are eligible for the same 14-day refund window. After 14 days, lifetime purchases are non-refundable.

5. Code execution

We provide a sandboxed code-execution environment for Pro users. Don't use it for:

We rate-limit and monitor code execution. Abuse will result in account termination without refund.

6. Intellectual property

All lesson content, code examples, problem statements, and solutions on EmbeddedPrep.io are our intellectual property. You may use them for personal study and reference. You may not:

Code you write while using the platform belongs to you. We make no claim on it.

7. No warranty

EmbeddedPrep.io is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that using it will get you a job β€” that depends on you. We make every effort to keep content accurate but make no warranty that it is error-free. Always verify critical technical information against authoritative sources (datasheets, reference manuals, standards documents) before using it in production.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to the service

We may add, remove, or change features at any time. If we make material changes that affect existing subscribers, we'll notify you by email.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll update the "Last updated" date when these terms change. For material changes, we'll also notify you by email. Your continued use of the service after the change constitutes acceptance.
